Mostly a Closet Cosplay to wear with my brother when at DragonCon with my brother for a day.

From the moment I watched X-Men First Class, I fell in love with Magneto and the outfit. Most of this was printing and painting the helmet and some slight updates to the costume purchased online.

Only recently getting into Mass Effect, I immediately fell in love with Garrus. (It's the voice, I'm a sucker for voices).

Buying a beautiful mask, I wore it with my N7 jacket, but it wasn't comfortable enough to wear as-is. So I modified it with elastic bands to allow enough flex for my head to fit comfortably.

After years of wanting to be Spider-Man, I finally bought a suit. Wearing shapewear with it is the only big way for me to feel comfortable wearing it.

Working on Alexsandr Kallus was incredibly complex and also some of the best bits of collaborating and assistance I've ever received. It was so much work and a lot of stress to get to the state I wanted to.

The most rewarding was getting to go to Star Wars Celebration in cosplay as Kallus and meet up with a number of fellow Rebels cosplayers! In addition to getting my Rebel Legion approval, and surprising my podcast cohost with the costume!

I'd been wanting to do a genderbend version of Nora Valkyrie from RWBY for a while. Finally, in 2020 I started it off. I purchased the jacket direct from the Rooster Teeth store and found the other pieces online.

I wasn't happy with the idea of having a boob window with a genderbend. Thinking of Kingdom Hearts, I opted to go for a necklace, which I commissioned from a seller on Etsy (Link below).

Nora also has her rather impressive hammer to build. The full process is laid out here, but below is the final results!

Screenslaver began work due to a theme day at work. I already appreciated Screenslaver's look and took to working on it within 2 weeks. This was a fast costume to work on. While it may not be the best, it was nice to see what I could do in a short amount of time.

The moment I saw Cal Kestis in the trailer for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order I knew I had to wear that costume. I bought a kit online, but this time, I knew I'd be making a large number of changes to it!

Naturally, you can't have Cal Kestis without his faithful–and adorable–droid! I bought a kit off of Etsy to help with that.

Unfortunately, BD-1 is not a model able to be brought along with to a convention so I'll need to start on one more able to go to conventions.

As someone who loves smaller, less known costumes, the urge to do Joker was an odd one. I wanted to do Joker, but one that wasn't seen often. It occurred to me how striking and recognizable Joker's introduction was in Nolan's film. With that striking image in mind, I got the costume started!

Joker debuted at Denver Pop Culture Con 2019 and I did it again for Reno Pop Culture Con 2019.

For a small Harry Potter event with a friend, I started my favorite Harry Potter character and chocolate advocate, Professor Lupin!

Following a shoot with my family, I went to a larger Harry Potter shoot which was how I first began doing professional shoots.

After years of shaving, wigs, and makeup, I finally wanted something I could do without shaving, without a constricting wig. With that in mind, I realized, I needed to do General Kenobi. Specifically, from the Clone Wars series I watched through my teenage years!

I debuted General Kenobi at Phoenix Fan Fusion in 2018.

1979's Alien is one of my favorite films. With some leftover filament, I printed out a chestburster that would attach to a GoPro harness. I got a jumpsuit, attached a Weyland-Yutani patch to it, and debuted it at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2017.

I brought that with me to Denver Pop Culture Con 2018 (the first after the renaming).

Helmets aren't my friend. I realized after one day in the helmet I wasn't a fan of wearing Kylo's helmet. So I chose instead to focus on the fresh scarred version of Kylo. This way, I could practice my makeup skills, and have a unique spin on a familiar costume! I debuted this version of Kylo at Denver Comic Con 2017.

My biggest issue with these was the wig. It was a synthetic and attempting to style it was next to impossible. I upgraded the wig for my next outing for Halloween 2019 at work.

After this, I went to Reno Pop Culture Con 2019 where I competed in my very first competition!
